After 13 months of hunting for the perfect C6 Z06 your “average car salesman” would have long abandoned the search and told the customer whatever he had to just to make the easier sale. But there is nothing average about Corvette Rod Stalter of Dave Gill Chevrolet. Rod never gave up the quest for just the right “Z” for me. On October 2, 2010 I received a call from Rod stating that he had found the car I had been wanting for so long; a Victory Red 2006 C6 Z06 fully loaded, smoke free, one owner cruise missile, with only 1,756 miles on the clock ! It took me about ½ a second to tell Rod to get me the car pronto which he did. On Thursday October 7, 2010 I took delivery of this beautiful beast and I was pleasantly surprised to find all attributes of the car to be even more pristine than Rod had described to me over the phone. Rod knew exactly how picky I was and he evaluated the car as if he were looking through my eyes. This Z06 even had the assembly line tags still hanging on the underside of the car in near perfect condition. The drive home was a real joy and as I now tell people; it’s better than owning your own amusement park, what a thrill these cars are to drive. So thanks Rod you did good, real good ! Thanks for not giving up the hunt and thanks for your tenacious attitude. My hats off to you and Dave Gill Chevrolet. A happy Corvette customer.
